This is the second show performer to die at the Magic Kingdom this month. Mark Priest, a 47-year-old performer at the Orlando theme park was seriously hurt during a “pirate tutorial” performance at the Magic Kingdom. Priest was sword-fighting in the show inspired by Captain Jack Sparrow and the popular Pirates of the Caribbean movies when he slipped and hit his head on a wall. Priest’s condition did not seem serious as he was improving in the hospital following the fall. His condition eventually worsened and rapidly deteriorated until he passed away.
