Wave Technology Communications, which is a company contracted by Verizon, is facing a lawsuit by a Clearwater woman who lost her husband in a traffic accident with one of the companies drivers. The wife of Donald Cochran is suing the company according to an article that appears on the St. Petersburg Times’ website.
The driver of the track hoe excavator truck was sentenced to six years in prison after driving on the wrong side of the road with his lights off. He plead to manslaughter in conjunction with his reckless driving. Agustin Trejo, an illegal immigrant from Mexico, will be deported following his jail sentence but that is not enough for Cochran’s widow Ruth who will seek damages for the tragic accident that took her husband’s life.
